He holds a Bsc in Transport and Shipping at London Guildhall University and a Master in Business Administration (Maritime Management) at the University of Leicester.

One of the most important experiences recorded is the GOLDEN BRIDGE project back in 2019, a vessel which was purchased from Korea and was repositioned to Greece to carry out a very challenging conversion which lasted more than 6 months.

Thomas BAUER

Olof BERNDTSSON

Director and shipbroker Nordvik Shipping
When establishing Nordvik Shipping some 7 years ago I defined the company's business model, which still stands today, as follows:
Nordvik Shipping is a small independent shipbroking and consultancy company with focus on shipping niche markets. The services are truly client based and value is created by combining the business drive of the intermediate with deep shipping knowledge and solid transaction know-how.
With a strong foothold in the RoRo/RoPax market we are reaching out to the maritime industry with a genuine niche market perspective. We appreciate how asset value is maintained and created in an illiquid market environment where buyers and sellers are few and far between.
Our business process is very much based on my own lessons learned over 25 years of practicing sale & purchase of RoRo/passenger ships - both as an inhouse shipbroker (totally 10 years with Stena RoRo) and as an independent shipbroker. This, fair to say vast experience in RoRo/passenger ships transactions, in combination with the experience being from two very much different points of view is unique and helps me seeing transactions in a broader perspective
